ATC-1 offers something special: swappable filters! You could insert cartridges
into the revers or the external rack unit and switch on Moog, Oberheim (with HP
filter), Roland or ARP. No huge differences, but clever.

| Though the envelopes
are pretty weak, with lots of fiddling you can create super phat, kicking, unbelievably
deep basses (like in "to hell and back"). Thanks to FM and a very flexible
voice architecture lots of things are possible. More than this machine looks like.
