A Different Drum arbeitet mit der Australischen Band Real Life, die in den 80ern durch Hits wie "send me an angel" weltweit berühmt wurde, an einem Amerikanischen Release ihres neuen Albums "Imperfection" als Doppel CD. WAVE IN HEAD wird einen Remix des Songs "Celebrate" beisteuern.
A Different Drum works together with the Australian band Real Life, who became famous worldwide with hits like "send me an angel", to release an American double CD - version of their new album "Imperfection". WAVE IN HEAD will participate with a remix of the song "Celebrate".
Lucky Pierre, das Label aus Essex (GB) kommt am 25. Januar 2004 mit einem Sampler auf den Markt, der deutlich anders ist, als die gewohnten Synthpop-Compilationen. Client, Komputer, Empire State Human, Macondo und WAVE IN HEAD sind unter anderem dabei.

Da ist ein weiterer Sampler mit WAVE IN HEAD-Beteiligung erschienen. Take Off Music III heisst das gute Stück, welches von KM Music produziert wurde und via Vegaland vertrieben wird.
Another sampler has been published. Take Off Music III is the name of the KM-Music initiated, the WAVE IN HEAD track "with you" containing compilation. You can get it at Vegaland.
Den 11.Oktober (Sa.) solltet Ihr Euch merken, besonders, wenn Ihr in und um Guben herum wohnt. WAVE IN HEAD gibt´s dort live in der Fabrik zu hören und zu sehen. Rahmen ist die Fabrik eigene EBM-Party. Also erscheint reichlich und habt Spass ! Ich freue mich auf Euch ;).
Those who are in Germany around that time should plan on being in Guben (far east - almost Poland) on the 11th October (sat.). WAVE IN HEAD will perform live at the Fabrik there. The Fabrik is doing their EBM -party that night. So come around and have fun if you like !

After a long break and a move I start with a new studio and the first news for September: "State of Synthpop 2003", the megasampler, with 86! bands is available at A Different Drum ! It contains everything the synthpop scene beyond the atlantic sea has to offer and is opened by WAVE IN HEAD !
Das scheint der erste Cover Entwurf zu diesem unglaublichen Megasampler "State of Synthpop 2003" zu sein. Damit ist diese Compilation nicht nur aussergewöhnlich umfangreich (80 verschiedene Synthpop Bands auf 5 CDs), sondern auch noch richtig nett anzusehen. Mitgewirkt haben, neben A Different Drum, Labels wie Ninthwave Records, Nilaihah Records, Alfa Matrix, Cohaagen Music, und viele andere.
This seems to be a first layout of the cover artwork of the upcoming megasampler "State of Synthpop 2003". So it seems not only to be unusually extensive (80 different synthpop bands on 5 CDs), but also pretty good looking. The CD is a collaboration of A Different Drum, with labels like Ninthwave Records, Nilaihah Records, Alfa Matrix, Cohaagen Music, and many more.
Früher war alles anders. Da haben die Leute Synthpop aus dem Netz gesaugt, sich eine CD gebrannt und waren froh, keine 15 Euro für das neue XYZ-Album ausgegeben zu haben. Nicht ganz ohne Neid auf den das Original besitzenden Kumpel aus der Clique. So ganz umsonst ist die Warterei am PC dann doch nicht. Die Telefongesellschaft will Kohle und der Internetprovider arbeitet auch nicht umsonst. Dann die fiesen Pannen mit den kaputten Downloads... Rettung naht von den Synthie-Labels selbst mit "State of Synthpop 2003". Für angepeilte 28 $ (der Kurs in D ist recht günstig), bekommt Ihr 80 ! verschiedene Synthpopbands im 5 CD-Pack direkt von der Quelle (keine MP3s, sondern richtig gut), professionell gemastert in schickem, offiziellem Finish. Und wer ist Track Nummer 1 auf Disk Nummer 1? WAVE IN HEAD. Mann, bin ich stolz :). Mehr Infos folgen. Formerly everything wa different. The people sucked synthpop out of the net, burned a CDR and were proud of having saved 15 $ they have not spent for the new XYZ-album. Not completely without envy for that the original owning fellow from the gang. And the waiting at the PC wasn´t completely free. The telefon guys want your bucks and the internet provider doesn´t do the job for nothing too. Then that icky failed and buggy downloads... Salvation is coming from the synth labels themselves with "State of Synthpop 2003". For aimed 28 $ you get 80 ! different synthpop bands in a 5 CD-package directly from the source (no MP3s, but real good), professionally mastered, in an elegant, official artwork. And who is track number #1 at disk nummer #1? WAVE IN HEAD. Am I proud :). More informations will follow.

Wer´s noch nicht selbst in der Live-Sektion gesehen hat: WAVE IN HEAD gibt´s am 22.August live in Mannheim auf der "Klangwelten" (ehemals "Demonstrtation") im Lagerhaus, in der Industriestraße 53a. Beginn ist 21:30. Weniger schön - das Intrapop-Event in Kaufbeuren wurde gecancelt. ´Sehen wir uns also erstmal nur noch in Stuttgart.
